The Park

One of my personal favourite projects, this client had come to my previous studio with a grand plan for a mural that would welcome guests into their events hall. Keeping to the theme of "The Park", the client had requested an illustrated piece that would bring the impression of walking through lush grass and flowers.
challenge.
At this point in my experience, I was fully engaged as production manager of the company and leading projects independently. The most challenging part was working with the original measurements of the area to fit the design accurately while maintaining as much detail as possible. The client also had precise requirements, such as all the featured foliage and wildlife being native to Malta, requiring me to create the majority of the illustrations from scratch.
result.
After extensive work, communication and development, the result is a full 70m² vector illustration of plants and wildlife surrounding their entrance hallway. Featuring native foliage and details you can only appreciate when up close, I found this entire project highly enjoyable, from beginning to end, despite the size of the task I was faced with.
